How Children Feel About Uniforms

Many children adore the ideas of expressing their unique style. The idea of expressing their style in their choice of clothing leaves their children’s clothing manufacturers and designers with plenty to work with. However, many schools are starting to impose uniforms that put a major damper on the children’s clothing market as well as creative style of many youngsters.

Many students are upset by the ideas of uniforms because they then have to have many more additional clothes that do not reflect their sense of style or adventure. They feel as if they are being forced to conform to the standards that other adults impose upon them. This leaves many students eagerly awaiting the time when school is out and they are able to enjoy showing their own sense of style.

While some students are able to take uniforms and still work with their sense of style and fashion, many other uniforms place a rather large damper on the creative juices. Many schools impose very strict standards and guidelines on uniforms that are hard modify creativity.

Many students have even petitioned their schools to attempt to reduce the amount of emphasis placed on the dress code and uniform policies. While some students are having success, many others are not having the success they desire to achieve. Many students are even forming protests where they refuse to wear the uniforms.

This strikes at the core, and many parents are even encouraging the behavior of the students and their desire to express their individuality. Most students do not enjoy the uniforms and quickly change out of them as soon as school is over which increases the amount of money parents are spending on children’s clothes.

As the debate rages on, more schools are considering uniforms and students are divided over the issues. Some students are for the uniforms, while others are not. The matter of who is right and whom is wrong will rage on likely for many years. Clothing manufacturers eagerly awaiting the results to see if it is time for a huge blowout sale on all of the khaki pants that have been manufactured to help supply the uniform requiring schools.

As parents, we all have the ability to help determine which side of the fence we prefer, we are also able to help our children if we decide to support them once they make their own decision in regards to the issues.
